Executive Certificate in Accounting
Prerequisite Requirement (3 options to complete the prerequisites):
- Option 1: Applicants who wish to enroll in the Executive Certificate in Accounting must have completed the following undergraduate accounting courses: Intermediate Accounting I, Intermediate Accounting II, and Auditing.
- Option 2: Applicants must have 3 or more years of experience in an accounting-related job as ascertained by a letter of recommendation and the role description. These application decisions will be made by the graduate coordinator in consultation with a department graduate advisory board.
- Option 3 (In addition to option 2 if needed): If the applicant has not taken an accounting class in their undergraduate degree program, and they do not have documented accounting professional experience, they must complete the undergraduate accounting courses outlined in Option 1, in addition to BA-911: Accounting for Managerial Decision-Making.
